I have strabismus, buck teeth, a birthmark on my face, a ton of acne scars, and a mouth that doesn’t fully close. I think I’m pretty but I don’t think anyone else has ever told me that. I always get advice on how to “fix” how I look ):

Hi. I have really crooked teeth, but can't get braces due to other issues I don't feel like elaborating on. I feel self-conscious even smiling for photos. And there's barely any characters in media with teeth like mine who are actually protagonists. Usually it's old people or people we're supposed to see as ridiculously ugly (especially women who we're supposed to see as ridiculously ugly).

And when protagonists do have teeth like mine (which, the only examples I can think of are from Homestuck), fanart erases it. Or official art! Don't even get me started on those Homestuck examples, and how Karkat and Tavros started out with teeth like mine but then as the comic went on they were drawn with smaller and neater teeth.
