The lightweight got her teeth done yesterday

Fancy got her teeth done today and we got an good guess on her age. Dr. Teskey is placing her at about 16. She had some hooks (circled) on her back teeth that needed to be smoothed out so she could chew properly and he realigned her neck and worked out some knots in her muscles. She really liked Dr. Teskey and went to get some pets from him after her teeth were all done. Fancy is leery of most people and it usually takes her a while to approach a new person on her own, so the fact that she's willing to walk right over to him even after he just worked on her teeth speaks for how attentive he is to the horse's comfort and how well he understands working with them.

Dr. Teskey is seriously amazing, he works with the horse's comfort level and assesses their entire body nose to tail in order to know what they need done. He is incredibly knowledgeable and so willing to educate while he works, and he explains how issues with a horse's teeth can often be traced or identified back to other issues they're having in their feet or legs.
