the black river ripples wildly, blank, white eyes occasionally appearing from the slick waves to look at you.

you're breathing becomes labored as you walk in the city. you don't have any known medical issues and you're not warped. your fingers become jelly and trail behind you.

the city curfew is at 10 PM. you only remember this as the darkness growls at you in a alleyway.

your science teacher looks different every time you see him. no. he's the same. his tie is different. he still has two arms.

you lost your baby teeth in one night. everyone's lost their teeth the same way. But don't look for your teeth. you'll lose your current ones too.

the cave in the forest blows out hot air that smells of rotting flesh. the stalagmites are drenched in a dripping coat of red.

when you pass a abandoned building, it shrieks with endless laughter that only gets closer the longer you stand around to hear it. even when you leave, you still hear it just as loudly as you did before.

a small hooded figure sits in the subway directly across you. you can't see their face. all of it's red eyes catch you staring. a fine line of sharp white teeth spreads across their face.

you ride in your car. from the window you see a boy stands on the edge of a particularly tall cliff. when you look again, you see only the bucket he was holding and his shoes.
