Reading Ringworld for the reference material
Bloody hell why did I have to pick a ringworld as my setting for worldbuilding I can't get through more than half a chapter of Larry Niven's Ringworld it's just so goddamn sexist
Main character is like 200 years old and spends the whole time chastising and belittling the college-aged woman who of course he's also fucking throughout the book.
She's a gremlin of a changeling... but she's a nice gremlin. Teeva is her name and she's ready to steal your heart AND wallet.
