Freddie is one of the least deceptive characters in some ways. She only wants one thing, fame and fortune. She knows how to get it, she doesn't have things to hide like Hannibal, Will, Jack, Alana. Hannibal isn't deceptive about being deceptive and Freddie is deceptive about being very undeceptive. Her motives are clear and well known, she doesn't lie about that. Hannibal was first shown in the dark in a decadent display of power. Freddie is freddie, very human, just in the way humans are represented as natural and naked, Freddie is naked and therefore very human. Also it's another display of confidence. We worry that every other character might have a horrid secret, we don't worry about that when it comes to Freddie.

But yes, that's what I think. I just love it, Freddie is awesome.
