Throwback Thursday ＞ -fragment- sweet pool original soundtrack (2009)

Another Nitro+CHiRAL game with a long history! Those of you who have seen THE CHiRAL NIGHT are no doubt already familiar with some of these songs, but I thought it would be worth posting the official recordings as well. (Sorry that I can't provide the booklet for this one — the CDs I have came with the sweet pool Limited Edition set from J-List, not the stand-alone release.)

Honestly, the Boo’s House track from TSR is amazing. It’s an outstanding remix from an unforgettable Sonic & Knuckles song yet it has the distinct styles of Tee Lopes and Jun Senoue in it! It even gets Tei Sena, a famous violinist from the Japanese band SeRafiL, to join in on it!

I’m glad the game was delayed if it means that we’ll be getting a better game in the end, but this remix was so incredible that part of me is a bit sad that I have to wait longer to play it! Sonic music just blows me away once again!

Here's the promo video for Japanese prog band Electric Asturias's new album Elementals, featuring a third of the apparently nine minute song "Time Traveler."

I'm mostly posting this because there's something about violinist Tei Sena being overlayed over a bunch of landscape photos that I find really amazing. It may just be that it's 3 AM.
