A redraw of an ancient image I drew back in 2013 of Kay and Twi talking in their human disguises. Kay is able to integrate and hide herself in the crowd pretty easily despite her hesitation! Twi, on the otherhand, sticks out like a sore thumb- Probably doesn't help that he's a physics teacher…

Here's the 2013 version for anyone who's curious and wants to compare! WHEW- quite a difference, I'd say!

Ingredients:

Main body - Brass tube

Open view lens - Glass sphere

Eyepiece lens - Glasses from Poundland

Eyepiece - Scrap brass castor cup

Wire eye detail - Scrap copper electrical wire

Internal mirrors - First surface mirror from a scrap TV

Kangaroo Paw Sunrise Anigozanthos "Gold Velvet" Saw it on my way to the voting booth yesterday. Seeing as I've mentioned some of my favourite Aussie natives lately, it seems only fair to mention that kangaroo paw takes home a medal. They just have the most stunning architecture and when en masse they are incredibly striking. However, a lot of people have trouble growing kangaroo paw, since the conditions here on the East Coast are a far cry from its native Western Australia.

Revamp and ref for my character, Gardenia! Who has been in need of a revamp for a while now- I shaved off a lot of extraneous details to her design. (She's Daisy's sister!)

Blue Fescue & Banksia Cone That hairy bulb is the old, dried Banksia flower cone on a dwarf Banksia - and I'm pretty sure the grass is Festuca glauca "Blue Fescue". I guess that qualifies this picture to still be about flowers! I don't know about y'all, but I absolutely love it - even the old Banksia cone... Especially the old Banksia cone.
