Machine City Blues- Severo/Telésforo
Counter to his wife and children, Severo Uriostegui comes off as a kind gentleman and proprietor of all things comfort for his guests. Dressed in a simple formal suit with none of the regalness of his wife Amets nor flare and fashion of his daughters, Severo establishes himself as but a simple enjoyer of the finer things without a need to boast or showboat. As one would expect he's held in high regard among the social circles of Commercial Quarter and even Residential given his presence in their restaurants and cafes over the over priced and plastic locales of the strip. Despite this Severo is almost seen as an omen to some often shrugged off as accidental scares givin his towering figure, yet to some there's something more...
The kind philanthropic veneer of Severo Uriostegui fades however when he becomes Telésforo and his tolerance for the most minor of mistakes evaporates in his pursuit of riches. His clash with the rest of the Opaque Gang's theme comes from the fact Severo was already up to high stakes robbery long before it became a family affair or he even met Amets. Though more pacified now, back in his prime Telésforo was a ruthless butcher cleaving his way through security and hostage alike using any means to guarantee an exit relying on only himself and never hesistating to betray the rare compatriots he worked with. This gave him a reputation both in the public as a highly wanted criminal as well as the underworld as a snake dually not to be associated with but also too powerful to attempt to take out of the game. Now working with his family he's softened up dramatically though to say he's not incredibly stern and harsh towards even a hint of impediment would be an understatement. Given the Urioustegui dysfunction it's not thought about too much by all but Esti who greatly fears her father's violent outbursts as she attempts to reconcile the doting father with the callous boss.
