En el Elite Way School cada verano antes de empezar un nuevo año escolar les ofrecen a sus estudiantes un viaje a un club vacacional para darle oportunidad a los nuevos estudiantes a conocer los demás. Era rara la vez que si quería ir, pero esta vez castigaron a mi mejor amigo Diego y el tenía que ir. Para no abrirse tanto me pidió ir con él y acepte. Cuando me dijeron que iban a dar una vuelta en los botes decidí quedarme porque me sentía mal sin saber lo que estaba tramando.

En cuanto me entere que regresaron camino rápidamente hacia afuera donde están todos los chicos platicando y cuando me ve diego de lejos camina hacia mi. “Es verdad lo que están diciendo?” Le pregunto a Diego molesta. “Ya te sientes mejor? ¿Porque no te quedaste descansando en tu cuarto?” ignora mi pregunta y suspira acercándose así mi poniendo sus manos en mis hombros. “Es verdad que tiraste a la chica nueva del barco?” repito mi pregunta, tomada un paso hacia atrás causando que caigan sus manos de mis hombros. “No importa-” empieza a decir, pero sacudo la cabeza tomando otro paso atrás. “Pero claro que importa diego- porque harías eso- no sabe nadar! Estas mal.” lo juzgo alzando las manos. “Se lo merecía! Sabes que ella escribió las gacetas de chismes? Y además amenazo a vico.” toma un paso hacia mí pero miro al lado sacudiendo la cabeza “estas muy mal diego, así no se arreglan las cosas y bien sabes que tu amiguita tampoco es una santita.” lo vuelvo a mirar a los ojos sabiendo que tengo la razon, “Hay por favor, ¿ahora la estas defendiendo? Hubiera hecho lo mismo por ti y lo sabes. Ella no pertenece aquí y no voy a dejar que se sienta superior.” suspiro con fuerza y lo empujo del pecho “yo no hubiera querido que hagas algo así- estas mal diego y te tienes que disculpar con ella.” “Por supuesto que no! Y ya se lo dejé muy claro que soy capaz de mucho peor si no se va del colegio cuando regresemos” me dice apuntándome a la cara. me quedo callada un momento viéndolo a los ojos sintiéndome decepcionada. Conozco a diego desde que éramos pequeños y mientras siempre a tenido un carácter fuerte nunca se ha portado tan horrible, siempre lo he podido hacer entrar a razon “vine porque eres mi mejor amigo y me lo pediste, pero claramente tienes otras prioridades. tú no eres así diego y ojalá recapacites porque los dos sabemos que si sigues así terminaras igual que tu papa.” Me doy la vuelta y empiezo a caminar de regreso a los cuartos. “Pense que eras mi amiga” grita tras de mi alzando las manos “Y yo pensé que te conocía.” Le grito de regreso mirando como se le cay la cara.
