*side comment: I was trying to read your ask/reply stuff but the font hurt my eyes* I must admit, the use of the n-word in that song kinda ruined the whole performance for me. I really don't feel angry (because I still don't really know how I feel about the word itself) but I know I hate it when people that aren't in contact with African Americans use it because they are appropriating a culture they don't understand and ugh ._. it's offensive *deep sigh* ugh

it kind of ruined the whole performance for me too. i don’t feel angry at the use of the n-word, i feel more hurt than anything else, but the fact that people are ignoring/justifying it really pisses me off. the appropriation is kind of part and parcel of kpop, especially with the recent explosion of hip hop concepts so i just take it with a grain of salt at this point.
