Emrys couldn't remember a day that he didn't go to his father's job after school. His father was a driver for one of the richest family in town and he let Emrys stay in the garage until it was time to go home but the boy got bored easily.

That was how he met Jack, exploring the grounds. They were instant friends, spending days together working on homework and playing games together. It was fun. A good childhood.

Until one day it wasn't.

Jacks parents had plans for him and Emrys was told to stop hanging around him or his father would be fired. It was unfair and cruel and even at twelve years old Emrys knew it was wrong but he also knew his father needed the work. So he listened and stayed away.

When Emrys was seventeen he was in a car accident and injured his right arm beyond repair, leaving him with a prosthetic arm and no future. Until his father brought him in on the mechanic side of his job, Emrys was good at it and he was able to do it with his one arm.

He was 22 now and trying to figure out why his old friends car was making a clicking noise.

Hugh had been sitting in class, throwing balled up pieces of paper at the girl in front of him. He was barely paying attention. In fact, he only went to class to pick on the other students. In fact, he was honestly just waiting till school ended so he could go to basketball practice. When the teacher had called him out, he sat up straight. “Hm? Me? I’m not doing anything, sir.” He said in a sarcastic voice.

Perfect Lies|| Aus and Rumor

Rumor always felt that train rides were the epitome of romance. Whether someone was completely alone, or caught up in a crowd of dozens, there was something about a train ride that was so...open. Anything could happen between the beginning and the end, a new world ahead or behind you. He took a deep breath as he took his seat, tucking his bags under his feet, always having been a light traveller. He was on his way back to boarding school, his last year here before turning over a new leaf and heading back out into the real world, hoping to travel every inch before his number was called. He didn’t mind as someone took the seat next to him, his nose already buried in a book as the train began to fill up. He pushed his curly locks out of his face a few times before securing in into a bun at the back of his head, one gentle strand touching the side of his cheek as he continued to read, stilling slightly as he heard the man next to him scoff. “A bun? Really? What, are you gay?” @tellmeitsadream

Emrys sighed, keeping himself busy in his lamp as he always did. Reading one of his many books. No one had ever given the genie freedom but some people had wished him books. Which wasn’t necessarily bad but Emrys wanted more then just to read.

He sighed again, looking around and tossing a book to the side just as he was summoned. He appeared and froze, there was a toddler staring up at him, brown eyes wide.

Emrys couldn’t remember what happened, couldn’t remember what caused the burning pain in his back or why he was fully shifted or why he couldn’t shift back. The only thing he could remember was laughter and pain and running away like a coward.

The life of a shifter was never easy.

He managed to force one eye open, he was in some sort of wooded area and he could hear footsteps getting closer.

“Fuck…” He thought, either it’s a human and they’ll ignore him or call animal control or it’s whomever hurt him coming to finish the job.

Emrys had known this song all his life, just like everyone had known their songs. It was a smiple tune, complex words and full of passion but it was his and it was his soulmates and that was all that mattered really.

Sometimes he wondered how the person he didn't know would react to his job, killing people for a crime family wasn't exactly well...normal. But then again if they were really "perfect" for each other then it shouldn't matter right?

@tellmeitsadream Cecilia had finished her morning jog and she was feeling a little outgoing. That was the only reason she was around all of the people in the morning, probably one of the only fully awake person in the coffee shop besides the workers. She was awaiting her order when her eyes fell upon another woman. She definitely didn't seem awake, and she saw her move when Cecilia's name was called. Stepping up as well, she heard "Addie!" being called as well. Unfortunately, she noted the lighter hand going for her coffee and she purred softly. "You might not want a sip of this, doll," she said gently, guiding her hand to her own cup. "I don't think you'd like the coffee I drink."
