my soul has left my body
where I speculate about...a certain show on the telly.
The body-swap thing between Missy and Clara seems to be one of the hot theories at the moment. I wasn't entirely convinced, especially when it came to those that had to do with Clara having been Missy all along, or Clara being a dark version of her echo. That was until I thought about it a little more, when a particular line struck me. You know when Missy had said that she had chosen well? And that Clara was part of this choice?
I thought then, well, perhaps that's it then. When you put two and two together, perhaps it's simply Missy deciding that she will be Clara as a means of getting to the Doctor, as opposed to having been Clara all along. Perhaps Missy had been looking for the right companion, with all the right traits that would reveal certain loopholes or vulnerabilities within the Doctor that Missy could exploit. We are assuming here that she wants to destroy him, of course, or at least bring about something negative.
The theory that Clara has never been Clara will never quite sit well with me because of everything she'd been through in the series before with Eleven, as well as her delightful and believable character journey with Twelve. She's far too much like Clara to not be Clara. Certainly not at this point for me.
You know who I think is the fishy character? Danny Pink. People have long had their suspicions about his strange moodswings and his unusual patience and 'perfection'. I have those same suspicions as well.
In short, all I dare ask from the finale is, you can break the Doctor's body, you can tear his TARDIS to pieces even, but please, please do not leave him without Clara. She really is his Clara, as he is her Doctor. I imagine he would be able to rebuild his life, and even his TARDIS, if he still had Clara. The other way round, however, I am less inclined to believe that he would manage. Just imagine him, standing by the console, with a timeline that was now sans Clara. Without her, the TARDIS would really become far too big on the inside. Impossibly big, and impossibly empty.
I cannot believe Bad Education is over. It was a seriously sweet finale. Crazy, hilarious, and utterly moving.
I need it to come back...some way, some how! I need more Jing in my life! <33

My body is ready.
I just finished the last episode of Hotel India.
What a beautiful, insightful documentary.
I wish there were more episodes.
Nevertheless, it has left my heart full of love and gratitude and with a greater sense of responsibility.
Thank you, Hotel India. What a brilliant programme you were.
You know, I think the real star of the Great British Bake Off is the person/team who does the illustrations of the bakes. They are both accurate and gorgeous. I am totally in awe of them every single time.
