💖 Be kind, give, share. Help people. It’s hard out here and the more we support each other, the better the world will be. We set examples by the way we act, the words we use at home, work, and online. ⠀ ⠀ I don’t talk about mom-life too often but I’ve been a second mum to Emily since she was a toddler. Kids don’t have it easy, they deal with bullying, trying to fit it, wanting to stand out, and then there’s the whole internet thing. I can’t imagine growing up to find out my parents had been ‘sharenting’ my whole childhood. Em is 11 and I hope by the time she reaches to high school, she never has to deal w/ the kind of bulling I did back then. Tonight we’re having a talk about TikTok and the creepy/deadly Momo Challenge. ⠀ ⠀ The #TelusWise program encourages us all to take a digital pledge to #EndBullying and work together to make the internet a safer place. They have resources to share w/ your kids or you can book a free workshop for your school/office.
