Kim stifled a yawn as she walked into the gym, duffle slung over one shoulder and hands stuffed in the pockets of her hoodie against the early morning chill.
There was already someone in the ring, she noticed, going a couple of rounds with the trainer. Dumping her bag, Kim circled the practice ring, watching the other woman's form. Tight, where Kim's tended to be looser. She stood and watched until the woman finished, holding out a towel for her as she came towards where Kim stood.
The other woman was taller than Kim had anticipated, never mind the fact that she was on a raised platform and Kim was flat on the floor. But then, most people were taller than Kim's 5'3".
"You're good." Kim praised. "I don't think I've seen you in here before though. Is this your first time at this gym?"
