more animalized DC designs, I guess?
A snake seemed like a good fit for Pam the more I thought about it. A lot of them (yes, including the poisonous ones) prefer heavily wooded areas, there’s something decidedly beautiful about them, and many of them are green.
It’s admittedly hard to tell as I didn’t *really* base her on any actual snake species, but I had the temple pit viper in mind:
However, strictly speaking only the male temple viper looks like this; the female is bigger and, sadly, is not green. So I suppose exactly what type of snake she is will remain a mystery!
TEMPLE VIPER Tropidolaemus wagleri Southeast Asia ©Laura Quick
Nocturnal and arboreal, T. wagleri appears quite sluggish as it remains motionless for long periods of time waiting for prey to pass by. When prey does pass by, or if disturbed, it can strike quickly.
