In a totally unexpected way, the expression on Dash's face was between surprise, curiosity, and astonishing fascination as Tiana took out a package wrapped with a small label on the side as it was placed in her hands. Confusion lingered for a few moments until she saw her name written on the tiny surface, almost feeling a huge surge of appreciation for her. With the habit of acting like an idiot when it came to doing some class project together in which it seemed that Tiana's temper would explode, the man still wondered why she was still agreeing to deal with the shenanigan that only brought headaches. "Is it a pen?" The guy shakes the wrapped box close to his ear, trying to guess the contents without tearing the wrapping paper or waiting for any kind of clue from Tiana - almost bouncing off the site due to the excitement of receiving a present before Christmas - but That didn’t mean that the gesture was not appreciated. "It's really sweet that you went to the trouble of giving something to your project partner aka 'the guy who causes shenanigans when you don't keep an eye'. I loved it, I'll treasure it forever." He smiles with great joy. It's silly to say it was just a gift. Anyway, it was a gesture of friendship and no one can remove that truth from mind. The middle kid of the Parr’s family doesn't have the habbit of being so 'touchy' with others, preferring fist bumps or high fives over something more durable, and while it's something that needs to be changed, Dash could only be proud to have one person who put up with a free soul that just wanted to have fun. Even though Christmas Eve and Christmas’s morning are so close, that didn’t prevent time from being able to 'stretch out for him'. "You'll see! Dash shook his head in denial as the singer continued with the phrase, giving thumbs up to indicate that there was nothing to worry about. It could not be denied that that sweater that lit up imitating the Christmas colored lights was something bizarre, that the bells on the slippers were perhaps too much and that the melody of a Christmas carol that resonated when the pressed the hanging ponpon of Santa's hat perhaps was too excessive. But even with that, the athlete was also wearing an ugly winter season sweater that hardly matched the rest of the clothes so there was no reason to think about it. "Are. You. Kidding ?! Is perfect! Christmas is supposed to be glamorous and dazzling. Now you're pretty much synonymous with everything this means." If it weren't for the risk of having too many witnesses in the battle zone, Dash wouldn't have hesitated to use the super speed against Penny. Had she planned a good strategy to emerge victorious from that situation? He didn’t know whether to feel admiration or fear at that show of cunning. To tell the truth, in the jokes she was the brain of the operation and Dash was the one who started everything. A really smart move assumed. "Don't you even dare to hit me with that. Being slowly was not exactly how one should refer to Dash's personality, correctly referring to more as a man who could barely stand still. Enjoying often not having to be tied to the slowness of having to perform activities like others, in most cases, in which he ended up abusing that magic that was used more as a toy to avoid boredom than in yes to adhere to a responsibility. But then, what could be done when even this was not an option? "It's gonna take forever! Why can't the cookies be made more fast ?!" Dash almost screamed in frustration, fingers flailing nervously as he helped prepare a new tray of Christmas-themed cookies, watching Violet confidently do the same without showing any signs of exhaustion. He found himself a bit jealous for lacking the ability to take simple things easy, although that was a thought that would never be said out loud. Apparently Vi could excel in other fields, and yet that was cause for pride in her because his sister was always trying to adapt to the fast pace and for once the tables had been turned. "You're so calm about this as if it was the easiest thing in the world, although we have the advantage that Jack Jack is not around, it is the only way to ensure that the cookies arrive for Santa without a mutant boy eating them even raw ... Does he still believe in Santa? " Dash whispered the last in a low voice, in case the younger kid was around to hear something. He shook his head with a sigh, no matter what, he wasn't going to be the jerk that could crash his little brother's vision of the world. Feet swaying from side to side as the head seemed to shake gently as if following the rhythm of the little song that sounded in the intro, a chessy one version of a well-known Christmas carol. The smile on his face and the energetic movement of the musician showed that he was really excited to see that movie again. "Awww aren't you glad we're going to see it again?" Movies weren't used to being an event that happened often in Nathan's life, being something of a kind of 'just in case plan' if there was ever time to spare to devote to that. A Santa’s hat was slipping over above his eyes and there were still some snacks and popcorn on the shared armrest that had not yet been eaten. The eyes almost turned pleading toward Roxanne, not caring if that makes him looks childish or immature. "I promise this time I won't sing the choruses or laugh at the most ridiculous scenes. I'll be like a ghost." The motion of zipping over the mouth was exaggerated, but it served to score a point. It had been a great plan to have met with his friend for that plan, her idea, and the truth was that it had been more fun than expected despite the fact that an usher had to have practically dragged them out of the room to start another session. The Lost Boy hadn't been long in running back to the box office to buy more tickets in addition to popcorn and soda, smiling briskly despite not asking if she was okay with seeing her again. "It is okay Rox? I'll practically dragged you here for a second session without asking." The index finger poked her left arm gently, more apologetic than friendly but at least it was sincere. The smile widened when he had a new idea in mind "I can make it up to you in some way! Being calm and polite wasn't Nathan's thing, rather he was completely opposite of being a 'role model' and that was intended to stay that way. The Lost Boy lifted a hand to heart in a mocking grimace of feeling hurt, not hiding amusement, or rather a malicious smile at that response. "Oh! How dare you, My dear Tink? A simple 'Thank you Nathan, you're so considerate and thoughtful. I love your gift' would have been enough. You should work harder to be grateful." Being dramatic was fun, although as a precaution a safe distance between the two was ensured, before twisting his head slightly. "Also, you said you wanted a simple gift." That was walking on thin ice while the situation was still going on while allowing himself to giggle at his friend's frustration, as if it were all a joke. It wasn’t the most successful gift but at least they could be practical and that caused a wink in response. The thumbs up were undoubtedly a gesture of provocation for that small victory, it had been a good idea to leave the bedroom door open. "Not to get sentimental or anything.
