lockbordesâ:
Lock was definitely taken back by the attitude of the kid. After all, there had only been one previous interaction between them both. Not enough to warrant such anger, and quick to jump aggression. Sure, heâd messed around with him in that moment but he was sure someone needed some anger management classes. Maybe heâd been ready to go soft on the boy, but if he didnât put some sense into him someone could do much worst. An so, in that moment he got straight into the kids face with a bright smile, holding onto his shoulder relaxed. There was no point in giving in to him when there were so much people around. No, thatâd be too much really, but maybe he could use this to his advantage.
âRelax,â he said. âI meant no harm by that at all. Sometimes i forget that not everybody had a little brother to mess around with. I meant absolutely no harm by it.â Raising both hands palm up trying to ease the situation. âI suppose you donât remember me? I saw you running. We had an interaction?â Tapping his chin thoughtfully, a bright smile on his face. âYou should be careful with your tone of voice. There is quite a bit of danger out there, you know? I just worry for you.â
Eyes were alert without losing sight of the individual who claimed that the two had already met before. Not a big deal, maybe that was truth but Dash wasn't calm enough to listen the reason. Maybe he was a dick for acting that way but his head was filled with too much at the moment. Normally, everything would be taking as a joke and then move on but after agreeing to have accepted with his father to 'not use the powers' and the fact that someone sneaked on him, it would not be difficult to connect the dots of why so much bad mood. Not like that guy needs to know the reason. Lips closed in a defiant expression as the other man smiled to him, supposing that it would be better to try to maintain a serene attitude despite feeling that everything was going to explode. Eyes closed, control of breathing to remember that you had to keep everything under control and not pay all that anger with that guy.
"Sorry." An eyebrow raised, of course he had a brother to mess with it if it weren't for the fact that the boy had too many powers to even consider it. "It's just a bit bizarre that someone who I barely know comes from behind and tries to surprise that way. Don't do it again." Not wanting to be demanding or sound agressive, head tilting to the side as the hand scratched his chin thoughtfully. Lot of people went to the races, but this one wasn't someone who could just blend in the public. There were things that could go unnoticed, as if some kind of hidden emotion danced in the eyes of that individual whose smile was somewhat disturbing, in Dash's opinion. "Are you sure that we really talked before? Not to sound suspicious, but I doubt that I could forget someone like you." Not rude or anything, but probably not thrilled with it either as a step was taken back to create distance. Not knowing how to really deal with all of this and just wanting to go back and forget this conversation. "Advice accepted, although why would there be danger here in a masquerade? Like, there's tons of peoples and guards so it would be stupid trying to harm someone and expecting that no one sees anything." Eyes looking suspiciously, though deciding to take everything more lightly and offer the benefit of the doubt. Genuine concern for someone's wellbeing? "So, mistery guy, why are you worried about me? We barely know each other. Can I help you with something or you just want to talk? Also, Who are you?"
