Ten Con Ten is a happening place! Whether you only want to have "Copas" at the bar or have a nice dinner with fabulous wine, this is your place! I tasted three fantastic dishes at Ten Con Ten. Lobster salad; the fresh lobster, covered nicely in a sweet-tropical sauce that was tasty and not over-powering, was light and bursting with flavor. My Diamond Rating for this dish was 7 out of 10. Black Cod ("Bacalao Negro"); smothered in a sweet glaze, with a hint of butter, was perfectly cooked and practically dissolved in my mouth. It was served over a small bed of grilled apples, which gave an extra sweetness to the dish. This got an 8 out of 10 Diamonds. Stingray ("Raya"); an uncommon but phenomenal entree that had a unique and buttery flavor, was cooked just right, a little flakey. The Diamond Rating for this was an 8 out of 10. Each fish was fresh and had a wonderful taste. I paired the fish with Victorino, a Ribera Del Duero, full bodied red, which had black currant notes. This wine is made for strong personalities. Ten Con Ten got an 8 Diamond Rating overall. Stop in if your in the neighboorhood!
