Crispy Skinned Grilled Salmon
This Bacon-Wrapped Pulled Pork recipe combines the smoky goodness of pulled pork with the rich flavor of bacon. Slow-cooked to perfection, this dish is a BBQ lover's dream. The bacon not only adds extra flavor but also helps keep the pork shoulder moist and tender. Serve it on toasted buns with coleslaw for a mouthwatering meal.
Ingredients: 1.5 kg 3.3 lbs pork shoulder. 12 slices of bacon. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 4 cloves garlic, minced. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 tsp smoked paprika. 1 tsp cayenne pepper. Salt and black pepper to taste. 8 hamburger buns. Coleslaw for serving optional.
Instructions: Set the temperature of your grill or smoker to 225F 107C. Black pepper, cayenne, salt, and smoked paprika are used to season the pork shoulder. Tuck bacon slices around the seasoned pork shoulder and fasten with toothpicks or butcher's twine. After wrapping the pork shoulder in bacon, place it on the grill or smoker and cook it slowly over low heat for 6 to 8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195F 90C. Prepare the barbecue sauce by mixing barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, and sliced onion in a saucepan while the pork is smoking. For fifteen to twenty minutes, simmer the sauce on low heat, stirring from time to time. After the pork shoulder is done, take it off the grill or smoker and give it a 15-minute rest. Next, use meat claws or forks to shred the meat. Make sure to coat all of the shredded pork with the prepared barbecue sauce. Grill the hamburger buns for one or two minutes, or until they begin to lightly brown. Put a heaping helping of the pulled pork with sauce on the bottom bun of your bacon-wrapped pulled pork sandwiches, and top with coleslaw if you'd like. Enjoy your mouthwatering pulled pork sandwiches wrapped in bacon with your preferred sides!
