This didn't seem right, but something about it felt like it was real. Maybe it wasn't real and it was just a dream. That had to be it, yet it just felt too real. He felt like something was there, but wasn't. Sounds that didn't belong in the normally silent rooms. Mason felt like he was going crazy. 

Getting out of the house and visiting the stables might help. At least he wouldn't feel like something was watching him. Horses always showed signs if something that didn't belong was around. He was busy feeding one of them when he heard the same noise again. 

It caused him to turn his head a little, looking to where the noise had came from. "Hello?" It was a bit stupid to call out to whatever noise it was, but he was just making sure it wasn't one of the workers. No answer. Had to be his imagination. 

That was until he heard one of the horses kick its stall, making a panicked noise.
