A great Tengu Digimon who lives in the dark depths of the mountains at the head of a band of Karatenmon followers. The Karatenmon train daily under its instruction, with their final trial being to defeat their master. Whoever does so succeeds the current master by Digivolving into the next Tengumon. It is said that as part of the new Tengumon's inauguration, they must flourish a war fan imbued with Genriki and cause disaster to strike in order to announce their succession.

　Its Apostate's Stiletto special move sees Tengumon kick out at its opponent while slashing them with the blades attached to the bottom of its getas. By channeling all of its Genriki into its war fan, Tengumon can also conjure a fiery tornado capable of sweeping up even boulders with just a single wave before releasing it at its target. This attack's destructive power is enough to turn those who oppose it and the vicinity into ashes, leading other mountain-dwelling Digimon to fear Tengumon.
