rewatching haikyuu!! is so brutal. the first episode literally is just both kageyama and hinata being so alone in entirely opposite ways.

i honestly can’t comprehend how someone could watch the first episode of haikyuu and want the manga to end with a kageyama v hinata showdown. like i can’t imagine how furudate could put more evidence that kageyama and hinata both work better and can be happier together

daichi's line just before they go to spring high where he has nightmares about him being alone and the gym being overrun by the basketball team and his realization where he just yells out "I am not alone! I have never been alone!!" Just fucking hits me man like every single time his self imposed isolation being broken through with incredulous laughter it's so honest and cathartic like I just want to hug him and I just want to also hug furudate for giving me that catharsis
