I am somevhat curious as to vhy you seem to hang around my cameras so often, Ms. Harrods. Are you vaiting for somezhing, perhaps?
The Scout looks over from her perch atop the roof at the camera and speaker system, genuinely surprised to hear it crackle violently into life."We-…I…" In a simple state of shock at the actual response, Eli quite forgot how to speak good English.Soon, she found her voice again with a bright and warm smile;"Good mornin’ ta you too."
This scenario made me laugh too much to not try and draw it.
There's a box sitting outside the ADMIN offices!
Unfortunately it looks like whoever put it together didn't have very many resources on hand to make up cards appropriate for the day. The cardboard box is lined on the bottom with a single layer of purple tissue paper and is otherwise filled with cards made out of folded letter paper, the words written on them in very neat, almost squarish writing.
There's a message written on one of the flaps of the box that reads "Everyone gets a card!"
There are five cards. Every one of them says "Happy Valentine's Day!" on the front. None of them are addressed to any one particular person. However, they are all delicately taped shut with a small piece of tape. It appears that anyone who is interested can select a card and claim it as their own, then open it to see what message they got.
The insides of the various cards read as follows:
You inspire people with your words.
You're always at your best.
The people you meet are impressed by your ingenuity.
The confidence of those around you soars when you're nearby.
Your wisdom is held in high regard.
The Admin team of Nightfall! I enjoyed this a lot but it was so much more difficult oh my gosh.

Tunç stood a little straighter when he heard the bases's PA system start up and stopped arranging his tools to listen..
He grinned when his name was said, but his expression became pensive as the announcement went on. A problem? It sounded like he wasn't going to get much time to move in before he'd have to be on the job. But that was fine, everything had been tossed into his room, just how he liked it- but his workshop was another story. He was still sorting out wrenches! He looked around the workshop and sighed.
He'd just finish putting everything away first, then go see the administrator. He couldn't very well help with anything if he couldn't find his tools! Especially if he was going to be working with the other Engineers, he would hate to slow them down because of a silly thing like being disorganized!
As he worked, he wondered to himself what sort of people he was going to meet..
He hoped they were friendly!
-
It took him about three hours to sort everything out, which was longer than he'd been hoping for given the circumstances- but now he was outside the administrator's door. Hopefully he wouldn't be upset about the wait.
He rapped a knuckle against the door four times, hesitated a moment, then spoke out, his voice a little louder than it really needed to be, as it usually was, "Sir? Tunç Akkaş; you wanted me to speak to you if I was interested in working with th'e oth'ers on a project?"

Once he'd gotten himself settled in, he found his way over to the main administrative office. May as well get this over with, despite how he knew it was going to end up. Knocking three times on the door, he entered the room. "Reportin' for duty, sir." he said, trying to keep as much sarcasm out of his voice as he could. He stood at attention, a few feet away from the desk the man sat behind.
The Scout was doing her rounds of holiday gift leaving, turning down an empty corridor she stopped and stared at the camera with package in hand. A determined look on her face. "Hey. If you're there. This is for you." She lifted the wrapped up slender item up into the air so they could see it, glancing around before placing it on a window ledge. She'd spent some time getting items together, and figured, whoever it was behind those cameras should be included by herself too. It wasn't a lot, but she'd hand knitted the dark gray scarf to be snugly and warm in the biting winter weather. Gray was a pretty in-between tone right? Not red, and not blue either.
