Hi y'all, since I just reached 200 followers and haven't made an official boost post in quite a while, I'm just letting everyone know I run a public chatroom for Katekyo Hitman Reborn!

While it was first created as a space for me and mutuals to talk about KHR, it's open to the public and we try to keep the environment extremely friendly, which has worked out very well so far! Beast Tamers AU / Beast Fantasy AU

In which the setting is completely fantasy-and instead of Tsuna finding out he’s going to be the next Mafia Boss, he would instead be the next boss of a powerful organization who keeps peace and coexistence of the supernaturals and humans (i haven’t thought clearly of what he’s the next heir to-maybe the next king? next boss of an adventurer’s guild? i dunno).

Tsuna – after his father left – grew up in the small village of Namimori consisting of around 200 people; and, because the village is mostly isolated on a mountain surrounded by a huge forest filled with dangerous beasts, there’s limited supplies and manpower so he’d be forced to work and help his mother at around 5 years old. Tsuna would have experience in farming, cooking, tree chopping etc, but would have never hunted beasts since his mother kept (dramatically) telling stories of the forests – since she worries about him dying at the hands of a beast.

Iemitsu would’ve been an adventurer who goes out beyond the forest surrounding Namimori village and bringing back goods. But because he secretly worked for the Vongola Organization as a CEDEF leader (which CEDEF would then be a possible scouting group gathering info on kingdoms (human or supernaturals)), he then left the village for work after Tsuna was 5.

His guardians would then be his beast tamers demons, dragons-each of them can be different powerful species. Tsuna would’ve also known Kyoko as the village’s most beautiful girl (he probably would have a crush on her at one point but gives up) and would have been bullied by Mochida and others since they don’t like Kyoko hanging out with ‘No-good Tsuna’. Hana and Haru would probably be Kyoko’s beast tamers.

I have a rough idea how Tsuna would meet his guardians, but it’d probably go something like this; • Tsuna would meet Hibari-a powerful cloud-related beast-sleeping on a tree and they’d probably • Takeshi would be a rain-related beast- wanting to commit suicide since • Gokudera would be ofc a storm-related beast, who came to Namimori to test Tsuna’s strength as the next future leader of the Vongola Organization. Of course, Tsuna saves his butt when his power was about to hit him, he becomes like a loyal dog to Tsuna, yada yada yada • Ryohei, a sun-related beast would have encountered Tsuna when he was running away from wolf beasts. Since Ryohei loves to run like a literal marathon, he’d get interested in Tsuna’s sprint and spirit when Tsuna decides to fight the wolves using his bare hands. • Lambo… Tsuna would naturally encounter him in one of his beast hunts with reborn • Mukuro, mist-related beast-I literally don’t know. He’d probably be hunting Tsuna down, and once he finds Tsuna he’d try to possess him and all to try and reset the world, blah blah • As for Chrome, she’d be the little sister of Mukuro, working together with him i guess

Reborn… he’d be the strongest adventurer, coming to the Namimori village to train Tsuna to become a strong adventurer and leader. As for the rest of the Arcobalenos-haven’t though that far ahead.

I do want Tsuna’s guardians to be a bit… protective of Tsuna? It sounds OOC compared to the canon, but I like it when the main characters are being adored by the surrounded people. And since this is about Tsuna and him taming his beasts, surely there’s a need for adoring Tsuna if they allow Tsuna to tame his guardians.

Basically, at the end of the day,Tsuna’s guardians are protective of him.

The Guardians and Their Sleep Habits.

Tsuna: Stays up until he literally passes out at his desk. Frequently has people telling him to go take a nap. Reborn will sometimes slip sleep aids into his water, and he knows that Tsuna knows he knows. Hayato: This boy lives off of cigarettes and caffeine. Has mastered the art of not sleeping for 48 hours straight. You're seeing things not me?? What hallucinations?? Has probably slept a solid 24 hours before. Takeshi: Goes to bed at a reasonable time, and wakes up up early if he can. Has no problem skipping sleep to help out with anything if needed, but tries not to make a habit of it. Master of efficient sleeping, and feeling refreshed and energized after 6 hrs. Ryohei: Honestly, he's so energized all the time that he doesn't get tired until he crashes. Once he crashes, he's either out cold, or has a short while to find somewhere suitable to sleep. Will use his flames to keep himself going if needed, but prefers to sleep (Also, his snores sound like a freight train) Lambo: Whether he's a five year old, or a fifteen year old, he sleeps a LOT. Everyone just lets him sleep, because the second he gets tired he's whiny and annoying. Routinely sleeps 8+ hours a night, and when he doesn't get that much, you can tell. Kyoya: CONSTANTLY naps throughout the day, and surprisingly actually doesn't sleep much through the night. Because of his light sleeping, he finds it easier/less infuriating to just have scheduled naps during the day, and uses the (rarely) quiet night hours to get important stuff done, and sometimes does patrolling. Rokudo: Frequently plagued by nightmares, and will deprive himself of sleep to avoid them. He thinks it's childish, so doesn't openly admit it, but he will create landscapes of faeries and fantasy wildlife to soothe him. If he's with the rest of his gang, he's not against sleeping in close proximity of all of them. Chrome: She has a lot of anxiety and stress dreams, but likes sleeping regardless. Takes advantage of everyone enjoying her company, and will cuddle with someone, or create a super comforting illusion for them if they need it. No one knows how she managed to get Kyoya to sleep in the same bed as her, and everyone's too scared to ask.
