Terho the Mouse-Lad by @not-poignant. I started to read their Fae Tales series few weeks ago and couldn’t resist to start something for the dark fairytale back story of the series.

I don’t know why, but I’ve always associated the Nightingale with red roses. Maybe because their meaning is so opposite to everything that he is. I discovered through drawing this that he apparently is a muse of mine. i want to draw so many of him now!

The song I quoted is from the Nightingale playlist by the amazing @not-poignant, and these (great) characters, of course, belong to them.

what kind of theme they’d have: I feel like Terho would try and hide himself as much as possible, so even his theme would be designed to hide details about himself, and would probably be difficult to navigate. I.e. tags you can’t see easily, no evident reblog or like button, no next or previous arrows etc. Dark colours.

what kind of text posts they make at 2am: Sometimes he’ll reblog some pictures of nightingales, and he doesn’t really know why, and he’ll delete them all afterwards.

I loved not-poignants latest fic! These guys didn't turn out at all how I imagine them, but whatever, I loved the glow daisies scene.
