It should have been easy. A simple mission. Yet here they are, three Jedi and two Clone Troopers, unceremoniously thrown back to the beginning. It's an opportunity, to set right so much that had gone wrong over the years. But every action has a reaction no one can control, and the Force has a Will of it's own.

But then, that's what happens when you try to change things.

If someone were writing a Star Wars Fanfiction, especially with Clones, would it be ok if to ask you for advice? I'm trying to keep the boys in character, but I'm afraid I may be messing up...

hah, I… might not be the best person to ask about this, considering I’m not technically a writer - my amazing writer friends @naberiie and @crechemaasters might be able to help out a little more with that aspect, as can @cosmicalliope although I can’t remember if she’s written the clones before or not (I hope it’s ok to tag you guys!) - BUT! I do have a bit of advice I can give you! if I were you, I’d rewatch the clone-centric episodes a bunch of times - clone cadets, rookies, arc troopers, innocents of ryloth, landing at point rain, the deserter, the citadel and counterattack, the umbara arc, and the orders arc are all really good, although there’s plenty of good stuff in the background of other episodes, too. really familiarize yourself with the characters until you’re able to tell what they would and wouldn’t say/do.

other than that, maybe ask a friend who’s also a tcw fan to proofread your writing! they might be able to pick up on stuff that you didn’t notice and tell you whether or not the boys feel like themselves.

Not exactly a clone headcannon, but I'm working on a fic, and in it Ashoka finds out Cody and Rex are going to be 13 and never got "normal" kids stuff, so she goes out and gets them little custom stuffed tooka cats. Blue for Rex (with Jaig Eye marks, of course) and yellow/orange for cody.

So I saw that you said you would be reading some fics and posting videos, and I don't know how into star wars, or time travel, you are, but i have a fic called Realign the Stars on Ao3, and I would be super honored if you would take a look at it.

Well, I did more than just take one look at it XD

Though I haven’t re-read it in a while I am subscribed to it, and it’s in my AO3 bookmarks.

I am very much into star wars and I am a lot into time travel or ‘character reincarnates at the beginning of things with previous knowledge’ (both OCs and not) so your fic definitely hits a few good spots.

It’s already pretty long, being 64k and counting but the next time I have an afternoon off and the time and space to record, it’s definitely going on my list of fics to read and react to!

I don’t know how much of it I will get out in one sitting (I think one chapter per video, not longer, and one video per time I get the time to do this) but I will do my best!

I am now, with all the videos uploaded, off to bed, especially since I am only 12 minutes away from 1 am and I am starting to flag a bit.

Same! I’m, like, a little more than halfway to getting Echo, and almost halfway to Rex, but it’s taking so long because they only appear in the Fleet Store every once in a while. But I guess it’s better than if they were only available through data cards!
