🖊️ for terri my beloved
Terith has always preferred to be on the back burner, so he tries his very best to not be the center of attention. This fails though, and he's shoved to the head of a revolution. He supports it, but being a general when he had little experience of it is a bit much. But he tags along anyways.
He always tries to do what's right but sometimes it has been a little extreme in others' eyes, usually out of desperation. An example would be the death of an old friend Mallory who turned out to be quite a trashy and dangerous bloke. Which Terith responded to with a swift knife to the chest. And a threat to kick out anyone who sympathized with Mallory.
He's living a peaceful life now, thank goodness. The war was a big strain. So now he gets to vibe with his wife and his boyfriend. He eventually adopts a daughter as well.
🪡 between teri and someone please <3
Sorry this is late!
You heard me rant about Teri and his boyfriend before but they just make my heart go pitter-patter, so you get to hear about them.
A lot of people in the revolutionary army were wary of Tor because of his origin and skarn shifter ability, as there's a lot of stigma around them and little known about them, but Teri did his best to nip that in the bud. As a mage, he knew what it could be like to be othered. They quickly became friends and eventually got pretty attached.
They're both protective of each other. Tor tends to anchor Teri down (in a good way) and helps them reel in their self destructive ways. Meanwhile Teri is like a hype man for him, and would most certainly kill for him. They both have domestic capabilities and tend to care for each other when they're not doing too well.
Tor, being like 6'5 and strong as hell, would hold a 5'4 (I think) Teri up for him to yell at people.
Fun Fact for Persi and Terith!
- Persi has a permanently crooked/broken nose after her fight with her brother. Sangris offered to straighten it for her but she declined.
- Terith has always enjoyed rain and swimming, but the deep ocean scares him. He firmly believes it should be left alone.
📚 + Terith! :D
Terith was originally planned to be a religious zealot who was host to an old god, and his entire reason for starting a war was because he thought everyone had the wrong religion. He was fully intended to be a villain and a shitty guy. But I decided that was all kinda silly and also impractical.
So now he's a good guy! And also not the host of an angry deity. He is just a dude who might can fling some lightning around and also wants to vibe. Also he thinks the monarchy is stupid and hates capitalism. He's kind of an apatheist too: believes the gods are real and impactful but doesn't care.
I think I have improved him.
Terith — 1 , 2, 4
1. (Do they like rain?) He does. It's refreshing, cool. Wet, like home.
2. (If they have any pets, what are they?) He has a dog! It's just a mutt that wandered in, settled down. Pretty good with the family.
4. (Do they have kids?) Towards the end, yes! He adopts a daughter. He was scared, considering how his dad was always off at war or just plain dead. But he was happy to take her in. He never really planned to have kids (partly because he and his wife can't produce children). But it was a pleasant surprise and they had a lot of help. (I still haven't decided on a name for the wife and child oops)
