Everyday 5.6.17 | "TERLIA”
Little thing I'd thought I'd do for a friend as my everyday for today
Enhanced for your listening pleasure. =)
I guess this was sort of a promotion piece? Oh the protagonists Terlia and Aidan; this image eventually ended up on the film's poster.
Any of you folks interested in seeing the animation I made a little while back you can now watch it here on tumblr or over on Youtube. =)
Youtube description:
'A few months ago I took an optional animation module at my uni; this is the film I produced in an 8 week period. It's rather unimpressive, I was really ambitious for someone who had never animated before and with two weeks of holiday in the middle of it all where I couldn't get to the animation studios on campus there was no way I was ever gonna finish it. So this is just line tests and storyboards essentially. If you want to see any of the development you can see it at this tumblr here:http://thebiggermovingpicture.tumblr.com/ It's not been updated in ages but I plan to use it again for art and other projects etc. The story tells of a young witch Terlia who needs to find a familiar if she wants to join a particular desert clan. The concept board I showed in my initial pitch.
Terlia and Aiden went through a LOT of changes, the witches stayed relatively the same though.
There's actually some sketches of child Terlia (ref from child Miriam of 'The Prince of Egypt') and her sisters before they ultimately got cut from the film.
