Do you ever have that moment where you've spent weeks counting down the days when the Trimester break will end and you won't have to do anymore assignments or exams, and suddenly it's here and all you can do is count the days until it's over so you can get back to school.

[3.30pm] last day before a term break! (which is only for a week, unfortunately) will be trying to post more content here :) am excited to have a productive 1 week holiday. I’m considering to do a 10 days of productivity challenge to challenge myself and to also keep myself accountable for this break. I can also go back to school to study but I’m unsure if I should, but if no one wants to study with me I guess i’ll study at home then?? Please let me know if I should do the challenge + updates will be given!  {note: doing a ‘productivity challenge’ is to keep myself accountable and to keep myself motivated and feel like there is something I need to do daily - which is study; I have tests coming up after the break as well so studying and revision is important too! don’t feel pressured to do it, it’s okay to take a break for a while. your mental health is important, dont forget that! :)}

April 2021 I took a break from juggling two semesters at the same time and fled to my grandparents house. Just walking aimlessly around and sitting down with a book was indescribably beautiful, I even made some friends (animals do count, right?)! Paul Stewart & Chris Riddell’s Edge Chronicles has been something my sisters devoured when we were younger, somehow I missed out on that and had to catch up with it. I love Riddell’s illustrations and the gripping adventures in the fantastic world Stewart created, the whole series has a slight echo of Lews Carroll’s Jabberwocky ringing faintly in the background (which is great, best non-sense poem I’ve read so far!!). Maybe you should give this series a try to take your mind off things sometime too?
