Because we can never stop painting lol...February's free mini of the month. Goal was synthwave colors. I think it came out decent enough. 101

I was gonna strip this, but I found a hack that saves paint jobs I dislike:
The glossiest fucking top coat.
Pictures are meh unfortunately, but this is shinier than mothman's polished ass.
I used montana gold's gloss varnish and applied it heavily.
Glossy nids = best nids
I also invested in an actual makeup brush to dry brush instead of small tiny old brushed. Makes a decent difference as I attempt to finish all my different painted Gaunts.
Custom Termagaunt! The file was from cults3d.com. Pretty happy with this guy!
The first twenty of Swarm Tij have been completed. Many more models coming soon.
(Maaan these do Not photograph well. Gonna get some prof pics when i finish the combat patrol)
So while I had @darkkara over to paint the other day I decided to work on my first Hive Fleet Jormungandr model! Besides the gun and needing to brighten the chitin a bit I think I did pretty dang well.
Hey folks! Painting has happened tonight! Here's what I worked on tonight! #Tyranids #termagaunt #reaperminiatures #gamesworkshop #warhammercommunity #warhammer40k #reaperbones #miniatures #wip https://www.instagram.com/p/CXfuEZHuuAS/?utm_medium=tumblr
My swarm growing again with some termagaunt ! I'm really happy of my army and I still have some other small organism just waiting to be finished.
Gaunts looking good. Just need their final white highlight and the carapace is done. Then it's onto shading!
