The Garth Brooks’ concert with the worst sound team of 2017
But that does not account for Garth’s performance. Garth put on a show with tons of modern musical elements. Like most country music Garth’s songs make you want to tap your feet. With a strong 4 count beat and a moderately fast rhythm Garth’s songs are perfect to dance and act a fool during. Garth’s music also has a lot of harmonies, which were present during the click/loop which most performers play along with to keep them on tempo and on track with their schedule. All of the music Garth played had a homophonic texture. Most of the time, his voice was the melody, and then the band and backup vocalist were the accompaniment. Garth also uses a lot of ternary form (ABA) the chorus and then a verse, the chorus then a verse. In a few of his songs the chorus (theme) comes back with a variation, a change in the ornament of the guitars melody, a change in his vocal pattern, or even the occasional tempo change. Garth also tends to stay away from the new eras overuse of key changes. If Garth starts in the key of G (which he does a lot), he plans to stay in the key of G.
