Ben Friar: Infran of Fire, born with much more openly talented older brother, who was first thought to be the Infran until their local Soul Searcher confirmed it was Ben instead. Arrogant and foolhardy, he thinks first without acting in order to hide a deep seated insecurity of living in his brother’s shadow. Although adept with his powers, unlike his successor, he could not turn into a dragon and later contracted lung cancer due to smoke inhalation. He also hardly ever shut up, and possibly had romantic feelings for his fellow Infran of Water. Due to their naturally conflicting elements, he and Terra often argued and disagreed with one another.

Terra Stone: Haughty and proud, she was born in the Northern Strait. Due to an incident as a child, she was scared of drowning, and therefore hesitant to use her powers. She was very headstrong and valued self-preservation, however due to her call as an Infran eventually became more selfless. She is one of the few Infrans of her generation to truly settle down and have a family, and worked closely with fellow Infran, Dyas Dearborn, in the medical arts. Possibly had romantic feelings for her fellow Infran of Fire, however, it has never been confirmed.
