Dear Vector Convoy, given your reluctance to do so, why did you agree to the dispatch of the Hyperborea to pursue the Terrastar? Why were you in particular so reluctant, what prompted your infinite sadness?
My brother has always known that sometimes, sacrifices must be made for the good of the whole... but he never forgets that they are sacrifices, and he grieves deeply for each that he must make.
For all the differences between us, that fact is something that I truly admire about Vector.
