is this... WOMEN????? I LOVE them with all my heart oh gosh.... (these ladies will play a big role in the main story btw!)
Hello, hello my curious friend! Eager to learn about the most remarkable person in Atersol? Well, you’re in luck today! Take a seat, relax, and listen closely.
🐀 Name: Nicolas Rattus Fischer-Waldheim. Sounds like music, doesn’t it? You can call me just Nicolas, darling. Or, if you’d like to impress me, “Count Waldheim” will do just fine.
🐀 Age: Ah, 29 years! Such a delightful age, isn’t it? Not too young to be foolish, not too old to lose my charm. Though, to be honest, I sometimes lose track of the numbers - who needs them when life is so splendid?
🐀 Homeland: I was born in the magnificent estates northeast of Ultimora, near the Capital itself! Yes, that Ultimora. My family’s lands have been ours for generations. Picture vast halls, rooftops reaching the skies and chandeliers glimmering with the light of kryllgems. Have you ever been there? No? What a shame! The castle is currently... well, a bit empty. Restorations take time, you see.
🐀 Profession/Role: At present, let’s just say, I’m an “aristocrat at leisure.” Although I do dabble in alchemy now and then - it’s pure art, you know. And here in Atersol I’m quite the valuable ally. Who else would you call to track down something rare or truly unique?
Well, my dear, that’s quite enough about me for now. If you’re curious for more - and of course you are - you know where to find me!

This book is illustrated by Raoul Deleo, who began his career as a freelance illustrator in 1993.
Besides illustrating, he also worked as a graphic designer, animator, and art director. In recent years, he has focused on fine art, increasingly creating and exhibiting works developed from self-initiated projects. His work revolves around illustrating nature and the idea that 'lately, no one can assure you of anything.'
I chose Terra Ultima as a reference book for my sketches and landscapes. It felt quite strange to try a different drawing style that wasn’t mine or even close to it, but it was also fun to experiment with his techniques.
Since most of my drawings were trees or plants, I studied the trees he created—very beautiful, but definitely challenging. In the end, I liked the final result.
I also looked at some of his animals to design the flowers for my trees in my new world.
Surfing last week in Mexico with #LasOlas surf safaris for women.... to planning to climb #Carstensz Pyramid, which is the highest summit of Mount Carstensz or Mount Jayawijaya in the Sudirman Range of the western central highlands of Papua Province, Indonesia. Planning to climb it this Fall with #TerraUltima from Montreal. Nervous? No... just excited! And with a seasoned mountaineer and Paramedic as our guide, I will replace these rock pictures with ones with me on them!!! And check back soon, as I am planning to do all 7 summits... and raise money for CAMH with each climb. Help me end the stigma of #MentalHealth one 'hike' at a time. So...I will need my friends, family, co-workers, clients to help spread the word!
