I stand by the accusation that the school is a sh♥tty place that allows bullying considering everything that Amber gets away with and how neither Castiel's nor Nathaniel's parents were ever contacted about the fights they got into and how Peggy was allowed to slander Candy in her paper for the students to read.
Man, I sure do love how this school encourages a positive, safe learning environment for everyone and DOES NOT have massive problems with bullying, homophobia, transphobia, racism, sexism, anti-Semitism, and all other groups of people they don't consider "The norm." I love it so much I MIGHT JUST PUT A BULLET IN MY SKULL. BECAUSE OF HOW GREAT IT IS. YOU KNOW. THE SCHOOL WHERE PEOPLE GET IN MORE TROUBLE FOR WEARING A BRACELET THAN BULLYING OTHERS. THAT PLACE. WHAT A FANTASTIC SCHOOL WITH NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER.

Dude was kind of a dick. He was a school bully for one thing. His favorite victim? One Severus Snape.
Actually I think I’ll add that one to the “Hogwarts is a terrible school” list, because it hasn’t changed one bit by Harry’s time. “Rampant, unrestrained bullying.”
Also, he was a dick to Vernon. Not that Vernon wasn’t also a dick, but one must take the high road when dealing with such people.
It’s mostly his fault that Snape and Dursley treat Harry so poorly.
Rowling needs to write more about this guy and explain in depth how he supposedly (key word there) cleaned up his act, because as it stands, the only thing he has going for him is “Was against Voldemort”, and that’s not enough.
The Joker is against Nazis and refused to team up with Red Skull. That doesn’t make The Joker not a bad guy.
I thought that by now I'd be feeling at least a tiny twang of wistfulness for my high school, but nope. Every time I see so much as a picture of it on Facebook, I just feel disgust and anger. Even with how emotionally draining this past year was, I would take that over going back to Burke.
