version 1.0

in this guide you will find instructions on how to fight each of my characters with the best chance of success. feel free to steal this idea btw

DIONAE: catch him by surprise or he’s going to use every trick in the book against you. if you are allergic to lethal poisons consider not fighting him

ALMATA:  get out of close range. those metal arms of hers crack bone like dry leaves. don’t get overly technical weapons either because she might be able to hack them

CATHAN: again, longer ranges are your friend here. he’s going to be generating incredible amounts of static during the fight so if you don’t have a good ranged weapon you could also just out-endure him

PHERAE: bad idea, she’s actually one of the best fighters i have. the good news is unless she actually needs you dead she aims to temporarily disable you long enough to get away so unless you threaten her life she probably won’t go for the kill

SERIZA: she goes for a blitzkrieg strategy in which she uses the majority of her energy to be fast and strong right away. if you can wait this out she’ll become much more manageable, just watch out if she’s using her crystal flutes -- those shards don’t come out of flesh easy

REVSKI: honestly not worth your time, you’ll get your ass beat by a guy using purple shades and a frying pan, and he’ll make fun of you all the while.

☽ - Which of your trolls is closest in personality to you, and which is most different? How so?

as a general rule of thumb i try to distance my trolls from being like me. my first fantroll morphed into a self-insert and then captured all of my negative qualities at the time because i used him as a coping mechanism. it was pretty bad

anyway that said i’m actually probably most like Brikah. i, too, love chemistry and am constantly trying not to blow my stack over minor inconveniences

♀ - What is the worst thing that has happened, or will happen to one of your trolls? What is the best?

lots of my trolls’ backstories aren’t super-well defined yet but 

while some might have her beat out eventually i think i’m going to have to give this one to Almata. having both arms ripped off and still somehow surviving is certifiably pretty bad. even if it means getting sick robo arms later

☄ - Have you ever encountered a troll with similar characteristics to one of your own trolls, and if so, how were they similar, and how were they different?

ever? yes, it happened a lot in the cafe actually. here? not so much, then again people make a lot of different trolls, and almost no one edits talksprite bases so imo it’s a lot harder for stuff like that to happen

but even if i did i don’t think id say so. maybe i’m just weird but i think it might come off as rude

☾ - What was the first idea that inspired the creation of each of your trolls, and do they still embody that idea now?

you fool. i have twelve of the fuckers you bet your ass i’m going to send this over to you when i’m done with this

Dionae: i wanted a troll that thought they were all that for practically no reason, and also one that was relentlessly rude and unsettling. i kinda threw that concept onto a pile of interests and the resulting glued mess was the anon lad. he’s really festered into a terrible young man

Ferdan: i was severely lacking in “good guy” characters so he’s actually just a fucking white knight, minus the internet stereotypes and double the goodness of soul. i wanted a guy that was too fucking nice and i think a redblood that saves other lowbloods from highbloods is the epitome of “nice to a fault”

Almata: the goal for her was a casual troll that was good in a lot of different situations, someone easy to quad up with with the catch that it was guaranteed to be a short relationship. i also wanted a hacker troll but by that point i had made too many stereotype-y ones so i wanted one sort of against the grain

Vivace: if i’m being honest i can’t remember the inspiration behind her??? if i had to GUESS i’d say it was Faith from Mirror’s Edge but that sounds pretty weak. if that was her original basis i guess you could say she’s come pretty far

Coleot: a guiding principle in all of these blog trolls has been that they are all somewhat interesting to interact with on some level. coleot, a history nerd who spends most of his nights reading, doesn’t sound like he’d be so, but the way i went about this is by making him super fucking inquisitive. so far its had success

Kansen: actually the first troll so far to have a solid basis. she’s actually supposed to be in another session based off of Yume Nikki and its fangames but i liked her too much to let her rot there. shes based off of the game Answered Prayers (her cloak’s design is that of the protag’s.) i haven’t developed her much beyond the concept so she hasn’t had much room to grow

Pherae: derailed from her concept almost immediately. formerly supposed to be based off of the generic Japanese “Sukeban” archetype. this was almost immediately changed because i decided to infuse her with an old concept meant for my original first tumblr fantroll. confused? me too, but i love how she is now

Seriza: actually has solid foundation in a specific anime character (her hair ribbons are a direct reference to said character) but she was more of a project to see if i could do the “Tsundere” archetype in such a way that was psychologically intelligent and consistent. she hasn’t seen much use yet so time will tell

Nonand: originally intended to be a villainous highblood that was terrible at being a villain, but that was thrown out due to me feeling as though it were too gimmicky, and his secondary concept which was just being a lazy, uninspired frat boy is sort of out the window too. i’m actually still working out what i want to do with him as i write this. check out his new hair

Brikah was originally meant to be a generic mad science troll for a fanventure i’ve long since discontinued. he has since been made a lot more indigo and a lot more angry. basically except for the chemistry he’s completely changed

Revski was meant to be a spoiled royal type who was an asshole with good reasons. hasn’t changed at all from creation. like, seriously not one bit. imo he’s one of the best trolls i’ve ever designed and i like him a lot
