This band was dedicated to direct commentary on hypocrisy and corruption within #evangelical churches, but from a sympathetic point of view - some of their original songs express genuine understanding and sympathy for people caught in difficult circumstances, such as “Ed Takes a Vacation.”. This album of #coversongs takes on some of the biggest bands in #ccm during the 90s, including @amygrantofficial @stryper #carman @degarmoandkey @whiteheartfans @dctalkofficial @audioaofficial and others. This is their only album of covers and was never intended to be taken seriously musically. Their cover of Carmen’s “Satan, Bite the Dust” sounds like a punk cover of “Rawhide.” Ha. They do an easy listening/ smooth jazz cover of DC Talk’s “I love rap music,” singing the lyrics “I love black music” in the whitest way possible. Jabjab.
