ThrowBook Thursday | A Wrinkle in Time

Tessering with Meg Murry, Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which & Mrs. Whatsit was my first taste of science fiction. And while Meg didn’t necessarily look like me, I found a lot of similarities - the love of math and science and definitely the self-consciousness. I gave this a reread about a year or so ago, but I’ve never actually read the others in the series so I’ll have to get on that soon. I also loved the 2018 movie - it was everything my middle school self needed! 😍🤓

Bek is trying to cover therapy for the summer so that they don't have to panic as much about not having a job.

Hey, guys. so, it’s summer, I’m out of a job for a little while and therapy costs me $110 a session. If y’all like what I do and can spare $3, that helps me move towards being able to attend therapy over the summer until my job starts back up again. Rent is not a concern right now, my partner and I will work that out.

I’m trying to find summer work, but that takes a bit and mental health is my big hurdle at this point. If you have funds to spare, I’d appreciate it (and will write you a ficlet in appreciation), if you don’t then just a quick share would be super helpful. Thank you!

I've just started listening to the Magnus Archives podcast; very eldritch, very creepy. I'm partway through episode 15, but I've linked the first one above to listen to.

If you enjoy such things as the SCP Foundation, you might enjoy this. I was awake for a good half hour beyond when I'd intended because of how spooked this left me, and perfect timing too.
