Little test (from 2024) for a dark reimagining of Sherlock Holmes in a retro-futurist settings. A dystopian universe where electric sheep do not dreams, desire rewires the mind, and corruption is riveted to the bones. Not until two sparks shatter it all.

NOTE This is really not a final idea but a pitch & to gives a general idea for the vibe of the city ruled by Moriarty. I still have a lot of vis dev to do as it is visually too steampunk & artdeco looking and not enough construct/blocky & grunge. However the claustrophobic verticality should be a fun way to re-explore some older projects that had similar aesthetics.

With my updated artistic journey I also want to add more cubism or brutalist look that creates a Noir genre mixed with the Victorian theme. For now, when I have more time, I will be recreating certain scenes from the series and updating my character design sheet.

Swing, Robots and Mystery

Finally, we have Project Testla. The story takes place 45 years after Steam Punks. Much is kept under wraps due to revealing story concepts for Steam Punks (the whole plot almost), but major change is there is a new technological era not heavily explored by modern storytelling, with robots, AI, and a focus on the Electrical. If I can, I’d call this era Testlapunk, the futuristic version of the Jazz age and hence why the name Project Testla.  Not much will be given about this tale aside from concept art or ideas/tales but the main things to know are

Set in 1934

AI exist in very few cases, with the majority of all robots being simple automatons

Electric technical focus

Main characters are a French PI and his AI companion

First story takes place in Toronto for Expo 1934
