"These are stars. Mommy said my power of light seems to be different from his. Mommy says I can control stars. When I hatched from my egg I accidentally create a meteor storm of stars falling from the sky." Luna waved her hand and had a few of the stars float away and out the window up towards the sky where they would live unless she summoned them back.
"I don’t like beams of light as much as mommy. Those are harder to play with. Stars are my friend and they do what I ask them to." Luna said as she used her powers to make the stars different colors. Some of them shone brighter.
"Daddy can you makes stars or beams of light? What are your powers?" Luna said as she wondered just what kind of person her father was. Aska had told her about Jude, but she wanted to meet her father for herself. "Are you in charge of light like Mommy and I? Mommy put me in charge of the night sky. I’m supposed to tell the other light spirits what to do at night."
"A-Accidentally..?!" Jude looked at the small spirit in awe and also apprehension. Her explanation made a lot of sense from what he knew about elemental spirits, but Jude had never encountered a child of another spirit. She seemed to wield an awful lot of power regardless... he tried to nod as if he were following along though admittedly he was starting to feel a little lost.
"Me? Powers? Oh, I don't have anything like that, Luna." Though he was taken aback by her question, he was curious. Had Aska even told the new spirit that her supposedly-father was human? Did she even know what a human was different from a spirit? He didn't want to confuse her but it was probably an inevitable talk they would have to have.
Jude took a moment to just smile at Luna. He wasn't sure what to say but it felt like a time for congratulations, so he went with that. It's not every day you inherit powers from a great spirit... his eyebrows raised. "Wow, that's a big responsibility!"
