So I've decided.
((I'm all but retiring this blog. I'm moving to a new blog. I'll be using a new internet handle so it's not obvious it's me. My activity here was very limited already, so it's not like much is changing.))
Blushing a little and looking somewhat nervous, the indigo haired boy walks over to Kyle. In his hands there's a neatly wrapped box topped with a pink ribbon, which he quickly offers to the blond. "Um.. it's really not much, b-but I made something for you..."
The blond had nearly forgotten just what day it was. However, that all changed when he saw the indigo haired boy press forward a box with a pink ribbon adorned. âAgh, shoot!â Kyle wasnât trying to be rude, but he was more preoccupied with the fact that he had been so scatter-brained than anything else at that moment. âI totally forgot! I donât have anything in return! I was planning on getting something, tooâŠâ Even in spite of his familyâs lack of wealth, he still wanted to have something for his friend. Unfortunately, that wouldnât be the case this time.
"I-Iâm sorryâŠ" His face had turned beet red. "I suppose I should just be thankful for your kindness more than concerned with my forgetfulness right nowâŠ" He gratefully accepted the small box, but instead of tearing into it immediately, he just looked at it for a few seconds, his heart sinking with the feeling of letdown. Kyle wasnât going to let it show on his face, however.

Ronan wasnât exactly expecting âAgh, shoot!â to be Kyleâs first reaction, and he looked surprised as well as a little concerned. Was there something wrong? But then as Kyle started to explain that he was worried because he had forgotten what day it was, the indigo haired boy smiled.
"Itâs alright, I really donât mind, so donât feel bad, okay? And anywaysâŠ" Averting his eyes away from the other boyâs, he continued to blush and started to nervously play with his hands a little now that they were no longer holding the box.
â..Well.. um.. like I said, i-it really isnât much⊠I hope you enjoy it thoughâŠâ Inside the box was a small chocolate cake that he had made himself.
((Not to worry, we can just pretend it's Valentine's Day still for the sake of this roleplay.))
The blond was trying to hide his disappointment with himself behind a smile. However, he was pretty bad at it. His smile was far from sincere, but it wasn't because of anything the other boy had done either. Still, he didn't want to keep Ronan waiting much longer. He was probably anxious to see Kyle's reaction to whatever was inside the box.
Kyle carefully removed the ribbon from the box and opened it up quickly yet gingerly. He couldn't help but stare at the small chocolate cake inside for a couple seconds without any kind of reaction. However, that was quickly replaced with a gigantic, sincere grin of thankfulness.
"Heheh, you make this yourself?" He asked. "It looks really good, I'm not even kidding. I'm sure it tastes just as good as it looks!" He wouldn't know that until he actually cut himself a slice though.

The Burning Four Crisis (Closed RP)
"The Laguna Ruins?" Ronan was surprised by the sudden statement, wondering why Kyle felt the sudden need to go there. But if Kyle was having some kind of similar feeling to the one he had while they were in that castle in the sky, Ronan knew that they better follow that feeling. It had saved them before, maybe it would save them again from a danger they were unaware of. The indigo haired boy nodded. "Alright, lets go there. If something is telling you we need to go, then itâs probably very important that we go to the ruins."
Kyle's mood seemed to have picked up considerably. Once again there was a smile on his face as he started redirecting them away from the wreckage and toward the Laguna Ruins. "Yeah!" He said. "After that, we'll head to Darillshade to see how my parents are doing in spite of this whole war ordeal." And with that, he was off, hurrying as quickly as he could toward the ruins. Kyle had no idea why he was so happy, but he didn't want the mood to go away either. And so he just hurried his way to the ruins.
The place looked exactly as it did the last time the two of them were in the area, as if nobody had been there since. It was just as grown over as it had been every other time they had been here, but it seemed more peaceful for some reason. There was a monster that looked at the two boys as they entered, but instead of attacking, it just bent its head back down and went back to what it was doing before.
Going through the area, none of the various creatures that could be seen wanted anything to do with the humans wandering through. Even dangerous creatures that could have posed a problem for them didn't even do anything aside from look in their direction. It was almost TOO serene here.
"It's really weird how peaceful it is here..." Kyle spoke quietly, just in case his words might break the peace if he ended up being too loud. "Maybe this has something to do with that feeling I had? The one that told us to come here... There's gotta be something important that we need to find here if that's really the case..."

The Burning Four Crisis (Closed RP)
Once they had set foot on Crestaâs shore, Ronan looked up and finally got to see what their rescuer looked like. âOh wow, youâre a dragon?â He hadnât realized until now that it wasnât just any sea monster that saved them, but a dragon. So this world had dragons too, he just hasnât seen one until this point. Putting those thoughts aside, the boy smiled and thanked Bernado once more.Â
"Thanks again for saving us. Like Kyle said, we really canât thank you enough for your help." After that, Kyle started to walk off, and Ronan knew where he was going, so he quickly followed the other boy.
"Kyle.." Ronan wanted so badly to be able to just bring the orphanage right then and there, but he doubted there was any spell for that.. All he could do right now was try to give support to the other. He placed a hand on Kyleâs shoulder, trying to reassure him. "We will get this place back, it may take a while, but we wonât let it stay destroyed forever. Iâll do everything I can to help rebuild your home once this war is over⊠Iâll also do everything I can to help you end the battle as soon as possible, for everyoneâs sake." Â
"...Yes, of course we will." Kyle tried to hide the upset tone of his voice with little avail. Not that he needed to hide it, as it was obvious that he was still upset about what had happened. "But we can't rebuild it now, as it might get torn down again by the end of this war with the King of the Ae'therians..." It was still hard to believe everything that had happened within what was supposedly the past three days. As if to remind Kyle of everything, his arm that had been badly injured in the explosion throbbed dully. But he didn't react to the sudden burst of pain aside from a small wince. He was too preoccupied with something else...
"...We need to go to the Laguna Ruins." He stated that completely out of the blue. "I don't know why, but I just have a feeling that we should go there." The feeling was quite strong, but it came from nowhere. In fact, it felt like a similar sensation to that sudden headache he had back up in the sky castle that told them to get out of the building. Hopefully they would be able to find out more at the ruins - about the girl's voice, about the sky castle itself, about what kind of future she told them to avoid. Maybe they would even meet the girl in question.
