Himawari had spent the afternoon exploring thebackyard with her mother only a shout away. She collected ants, worms, beetles,and chased butterflies in attempt to catch them. By this hour, she’s sitting bythe fence gathering rocks and pebbles rearranging them to look like tinyhouses. 

The unexpected interruption startled her atfirst. Looking up, Hima’s certain she has seen this boy before. This is the boywho won against Chocho during the Final round of the Chunin Exams. A genin fromSunagakure and much like herself, a child of one of the Five Kage. However sheremembers him as the boy who controlled black sand. Sand as dark as the darkness of the night, even she was amazed when she first saw him use his iron sand and how he made it appeared as if he were creatingshadows in broad daylight.

“Oh– um..” She’s nervous and curious; her mind brimmingwith questions for the genin. Usually it was typical for a child her age tobehave timid in the presence of a stranger but Himawari wasn’t your typicalkid. More often than not the cheerful sunflower welcomed the opportunity tomake a new friend.

So with adetermined smile and her heart of gold, she put aside those feelings of insecurityand gave the boy a gleeful reply, “Their houses I’m building for my littlefriends! Would you.. like to meet them?”
