Reunions

So here's some reunion stuff post the Thanos snap.
Thanos had been defeated. It wasn't easy, there were tears, and sweat and blood and they did their damndest to make sure that those stones didn't fall into the wrong hands again. Given to Thor, he would protect them. Rebuilding Asgard and all the people that survived. They would be safe.
Everyone else, even after there had been a solemn mood around the compound. So many people gone, so many lives lost and no one thought that they would see them again. Tony certainly didn't think that he would ever see Stephen Strange again.
They had a brief moment, something born fairly quickly and gone just as much. He would think that when Stephen ever saw him again that there would be pretty much no emotion. Maybe a simple hello but nothing more than.
Tony sat around in one of the chairs in the middle of the room. He held a class of cranberry juice while everyone else had wine or beer or even something stronger than that.
Steve stood at the window, his hands clenched at his side. His thoughts with Bucky and Sam, two friends that he had lost. Clint, the same mood with losing his family, Natasha trying her best to comfort him.
Not only had it been Stephen, in Tony's mind but he had also lost the kid, Peter…. Who he was supposed to protect and that didn't happen. He lost him as well.
He couldn't look in May's eyes as he told her that Peter was one of those affected by the snap. She punched him, screamed and blamed him for everything.
He deserved it.
It neared midnight when a loud crash erupted on the compound. Everyone took position with Steve leading the way, running out the compound and towards the noise.
Everyone followed and just like Steve, once they hit the main grounds froze in their spot.
Everyone that they had lost stood there, confused.
Steve dropped his shield, running towards Bucky and Sam. Clint and Natasha towards Clint's family, Nebula stood idly by along with their Thor. The ones that they had lost wouldn't come back. They only had the memories of a brother and a sister.
Peter….
Peter ran towards Tony almost in a instant. He wrapped his arms around the kid he saw as a son and was grateful, first and foremost that he was back, he was alive.
“Mr. Stark… I'm…”
Tony pulled him back, stopping whatever he had to say with a hand held up. “Don't say anything. I'm just glad you're back and safe now. Happy, happy will take you to see aunt May. You don't need to be swinging all over the place.”
Tony gave Peter one more hug before watching him run into the compound.
Everyone was back.
Everyone.
Stephen stood in front of Tony, arms crossed against his chest and a grin on his lips.
“You're upset.” A statement. Tony scoffed.
“I'm not.”
“You are. Did you cry over my death?”
Tony rolled his eyes. Despite hooking up with the man, he also forgot how arrogant the man could be as well.
“I---”
“It's okay if you did.”
Stephen stepped closer to Tony and wrapped him in his arms. There was silence with Tony taking in a familiar scent and the warmth that he provided.
“Don't get ahead of yourself. I was upset by a lot of people that were affected by the snap. Not just you.”
Stephen placed a soft kiss to the top of Tony's head. “Anthony.”
Tony tilted his head up and pressed a soft kiss to Stephen's lips. The other man didn't seem all that shooken up about it and instead pressed himself into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Tony's middle and holding him close to his chest.
A kiss that was unfamiliar and yet the same.
Passion fueled and hasty.
Tony missed it, missed him more than anything and he couldn't believe that he finally had him back in his arms.
“Anthony.”
Stephen pulled back slowly, breathless.
“I know. I know. Wong. He doesn't know you're back and I know you want to see him. I won't stop you from going.”
Tony began to pull further away only to be pulled back into Stephen's arms.
“I don't mind. Honestly. He can wait. I would much rather catch up with you.”
Tony pulled him into another kiss, a smile played on his lips.
“I want that too.”
