I'm not sure what it's like at your university but $120 for a textbook is ridiculously cheap at mine.. my psychology textbooks have never been under $180 and have gone up to $300. my friends who are in bio, they're books have never been under $250. it really really sucks but unfortunately that's kind of just how it works..
I realize that by "normal" standards, $120 is not that expensive but to me, that's all of my income for a month from my tutoring job. Like ... I'm sorry but I took this really rudely because comparing the plights of others to mine does not make my grievances with the cost of MY text books any less. $120 is a lot of money, and to me it's TOO much money. It does work like that but that doesn't mean I can't be angry about it.
