I’m literally BEGGING writers to use the read more function here on tumblr. I am so tired of scrolling through 500+ (usually 1k+) word fics that I have no interest in reading at that moment if at all.
PLEASE. It’s not hard to use a read more break.I’ll even explain to you how to use one if you want/need. Just pls pls pls start using them.
& if you already do use them, know that I love you. Like seriously, I may have never come across your blog or read any of your fics but I love you. So much.

There’s a setting in tumblr that will automatically shorten long posts for you (as a reader, scrolling the feed)!

“Go into your account settings → dashboard settings → shorten long posts → turn on. The only time that setting doesn't work is when you're on a blog scrolling through. It works on the dash and it also usually works in tags unless Tumblr has a weird day”
