hey!! i thought maybe as a celebration of me getting 40k followers, would like, an edit a day for a month be a thing i could try to do? i’ve done like five edits this year probably, so maybe that could be a motivation for me to do more gifs and graphics and such!! :)

so this happened today

i hit the 39k mark about a year ago and then people seemed to lose interest in my blog so i thought i’d never hit 40k at all, but apparently it did eventually happen!!

i don’t think many of you know that i’ve been here for SIX whole years (i made my account on 15 july 2010). i’ve gone through a lot of urls (awesomepadfoot, dracomafloy, consultingflatmates etc.), and i’ve made a lot of friends and many of them that i’ve had the fortune to meet in real life!

forty thousand people have decided to click on my blog and follow it. forty thousand. i know most of my followers aren’t active anymore based on my activity page and notes overall, but it still means a lot to actually see this number there. to know i did something that made you want to see more.

honestly, thank you so much for deciding to follow me and some of you have even gotten to know me in a way too, have followed me through happy and sad times, and my entire high school (gymnasium, i’m swedish) period, me cutting off my hair, me discovering my sexuality, and many more things.

thank you for being here when i’ve needed it, it means the world to me, and i hope you want to stay with me for a bit longer too. <3
