Reimaginings of Tulip and One-One from Infinity Train. Another redesign was my most popular post, so I thought I’d give another swing at it, in a more graphic style.
I had this thought, and drew this to illustrate my vague idea more. I saw a Star Wars prequel was on. Before turning it. My idea, as vague as it is, is instead of making Anakin Skywalker a cute kid with a heart of gold, they should have made him this thuggish criminal on the way to becoming someone horrible. Almost a bully. As a child Anakin probably had it really rough as a lot of killers and criminals tend to have had. And when Portman's character and the Jedi meet him he is on the road to being a someone horrible or killed. The three see the good in him. Start to bring it out. He helps them and wants to become better. They give him hope and a reason to try. He starts out as a thug, petty criminal, maybe even a thief and killer, and starts to redeem himself. Making the audience think his arc is this. Then when Portman's character... Spoiler... Dies it could feel like he has lost any reason to try and falls back into who he was and the dark side. Revealing his arc went from criminal, to wanting to be a hero, to being heroic, to becoming the dark side. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan so maybe there are reasons against my idea. And also clearly I didn't know exactly how to make him look. Don't know what would be authentic tattoos for him to have or how he should dress as a criminal on his planet. The point though is maybe instead of being a sweet kid he was more of a bully, like Nelson Mints.
Speak for yourself, frog man
I’d happily set this as my wallpaper if I didn’t already have one I was quite pleased with
