Life update: Starting today, these next few weeks of my life are gonna be swamped with client work, so my posting is definitely gonna slow down. I have a YouTube vid that /should/ come out in the next few days (I hate moving things back so much but WOW everything keeps taking longer than expected) and I have a few IGTV vids queued for this week so hopefully I won't be too dead. WIP 🦎 The more I look at it, the more I think it may actually be finished. Idk why I was so sloppy with my mark making on this one, but it sure is adding a certain je ne sais quoi, no? . Sorry this account is gathering dust, I've been working on so many different projects and haven't had the time or energy to make any personal work OTL I normally wouldn't post this WIP, but I can't have the algorithm thinking I'm dead 😤 (even if that is 100% true 💦) Mostly tho I'm posting because I miss the heck out of you guys and I miss posting new art so frequently. I'm very blessed to have such a supportive and kind following, and seeing your comments inspires and motivates me to keep creating. WIP 🌤 Been experimenting with lots of textured brushes and have really been loving the process (and the results!!) For this painting, I used a lot of dry, acrylic brushes that mimic the texture of canvas, which I think suit the softer, more natural vibes of the piece. ☺️ Do you guys use textured brushes?
