Working on my #classicsmockingcardigan today and I’m just about to start the smocking pattern (yippee!). Looking at all my current projects I’ve realised I am especially drawn to patterns with lots of texture. What do you love to knit? I had to look up the original stitch pattern I got this from. I have modified it to my uses, but I was I wondering where I got the idea for doing a bobble (I call this one a bobblet because it is small) over 2 rows. This is made by working the increase on the first round, then working the body and decrease of the bobble over 3 rows (forward, back, forward & BO). It is so much more stable.
