I just finished Shelby's Flight VOD from today, and I gotta say I'm very interested in Osteon so far.

I liked the interaction Shelby had with them (using they/them for Osteon for now because I can't find confirmation of their pronouns anywhere) after she found Osteon's dragon in the resource world and Sun Guard just called them in like "Hey, this wind girl was beating up your dragon, deal with her," and they were instead just really chill with Shelby and showed her around the new forge. And then she was like "I was suspicious of them at first. I thought they had rancid vibes, but now I feel bad because they're actually, like, really cool! I wonder if they're sticking around for long."

Also, I love the fact that they're an alumni from the academy, and they talked about how the school is very different now from the one they remember. There were secret passages in their time at the school that no longer exist, and new ones that weren't there before. I guess that makes sense since we know the rooms and halls magically shift around, but still a cool detail to throw out.

I'm curious how they'll handle being both the blacksmith and the head of security. Seems like a large task for just one person, especially in a magic academy. They must be pretty strong.

Wither magic also is a very interesting choice for them. You'd think, as a blacksmith, Osteon would have something to do with metal or fire, but they did say they also fought for the queen before coming here (which Shelby was very enthusiastic about /sarc). I wonder why that dragon chose them. Do we know their dragon's name or anything else about their backstory?

Is poodwattle sticking around to play Osteon for the rest of the SMP, or will they be a normal NPC from now on and this was just a one time cameo? It seems like they are since they got their own dorm room and void chest and all that. If they are sticking around, will they be streaming and/or recording their POV? Because I would love to watch them if so.
